I wanted real adventures to happen to myself. But real adventures, I reflected, do not happen to people who remain at home: they must be sought abroad.
— ― James Joyce, Dubliners

It’s almost impossible to think about Ireland without thinking first of scholarship… from the druids and bards to important Irish literary works, the great poets and the lyrical melody in which many stories are passed on and on through word or song.

While at Saints & Scholars, you step into both the history and future of Ireland. You will provide literacy services to First Peoples or nomadic population of Ireland who have had a history of limited access to traditional education, while at the same time you’ll offer literacy services to the most recent members of Irish society; the refugees and asylum seekers.

The scholarship you’ll experience expands well beyond facilitating English language skills.

This education will include leadership, intercultural and global citizenship skills as well as a greater understanding of human rights which becomes necessary in any industry around the globe today.

This education will engage you on a journey to better understand yourself and to use supports to hone in on your interest areas and to a plan for your future.

You will leave feeling a sense of achievement and advancement having engaged in such a deep level of practical learning.
