U. S. Veteran Programs

Saints & Scholars, Inc. is committed to working with our U.S. Veterans; offering creative opportunities to share their lived experiences through the arts. Through a social justice lens, participating. Veterans engage in large-scale art projects that culminate in local, public, art exhibits. These installations and interventions are a response to the increased mental health needs of our U.S. Veterans. The projects help to reduce stigma and utilize the arts as a vehicle for communication. Themes are often related to mental health, identity, transitioning home to civilian life, stressors, support, and community building. Our teen ambassadors support team leaders in designing and facilitating such art projects.
