Senior Living Programs

Saints & Scholars, Inc. works closely with senior living programs under the direction of our teen ambassador program. Adolescents enrolled in our programming participate in community service learning projects that support older adults in accessing their creativity, and memories and sharing their life stories both verbally and visually. Our teen ambassadors engage in 1:1 discussions and artmaking or work with peers to lead creative, art enrichment groups that become a bridge between the generations. Participating teen ambassadors leave these experiences with increased skill sets, leadership experience, a sense of connection and belonging, and an opportunity to explore and learn from the lived experiences and wisdom of our older generations.
